- 3 / 5By J. KingMy partner and I went to nearby Winooski Circle so I wouldn't have to drive too far in the cold and snow. The two restaurants we like there (Tiny Thai and Our House) were full so we went to a third, Misery Loves Co. This is one of those grossly over-priced, under-portioned, farm-to-table trendy spots staffed by hipsters. The food was mostly excellent (their vegetables were, however, in turn undercooked and over-cooked and near rancid) and the drinks were too clever and over priced and the ambient music (at one point, Van Halen?!) was God-awful. But on the "up" side, it only cost me $ 122.00 (with tip) for dinner, drinks and dessert. Happy St. Valentine's Day. (Misery Loves Co., indeed.)January 03, 2017
